A user code account that has no more than 8 digits and is used for User Code authentication can be carried over and used as a login user name even after the authentication method has been switched from User Code authentication to Basic authentication, Windows authentication, or LDAP authentication.

If an incorrect password is given the system will wait few seconds before it comes back with the Authentication Failed prompt. If it is taking over a minute then it may be the performance between LDAP and the Quality Center server.
